Artist Exhibition
8/20: Joyce will be one of the artists featured in the faculty exhibition Making Waves at the Art League of Long Island. The exhibition will run from the 21st of August through the 12th of September. Opening reception will be held Friday, August 20th from 5:30pm-7:00pm at The Art League of Long Island (107 East Deer Park Rd., Dix Hills, NY). For more information click here.

KNITTING WITH WIRE - Knitting the Metal Textile
Translate knitting patterns and techniques familiar from knitting yarn into rich, varied metal textiles. This class will cover shaping and the creation of texture and density by knitting wire samples and reviewing existing patterns for lace, ruching and more. Your knitting repertoire will expand to include jewelry and fashion or decorative accessories. Students should have basic knitting skills: cast-on, knit, purl, bind-off and have some experience knitting in wire.
Dates: October 14th, 21st, 28th, & November 4th from 10am-4pm
